Our Intra-league Teams

The Charlotte Roller Girls have three intra-league teams – Block’em Sock’em Rollers, Cockpit Candies and Fraid Knots. These intra-league teams only compete against other Charlotte Roller Girls intra-league teams.

The Charlotte Roller Girls Block’em Sock’em Rollers are a hard-hitting bunch. Shunned by the boxing world for refusing to throw fights, these beauties decided to take their hard hits to the world of flat track roller derby. Their favorite things are bloody knuckles, passing the star, Don King and of course all six Rocky flicks. These Rollers go the distance.

The Charlotte Roller Girls Cockpit Candies are a flight crew serving up sugarcoated derby action. These scrumptious femmes will surely satisfy your sweet tooth. Infuriated by the lack of respect by previous passengers, lack of seat belt use and over use of cheesy pick-up lines, these divas are determined to take out their frustrations in roller derby. They won’t just knock your teeth out, they’ll rot them out! Roller Derby never tasted so good.

The Charlotte Roller Girls Fraid Knots are a gang of female buccaneers who sail the high seas seeking pirate booty. After capturing a ship, these fearless mercenaries challenge their hostages to a flat track roller derby bout. A win means freedom. Losing means a walk on the plank. No one ever wins.
