Your hometown Charlotte Roller Girls All-Stars put up a tremendous effort but could not defeat the well-prepared Cape Fear Roller Girls. The All-Stars struck first, scoring 10 points in the first jam, but were taken off guard by Cape Fear’s fearsome defense and could not maintain that momentum. Final score of 152-74.
Shout out to Jen Fizz who left the game early with a shoulder injury. We wish her a speedy recovery and quick return to the track!
The loss won’t keep the CLTRG skaters down – the next bout is scheduled for August 14th and it’s a DOUBLE HEADER!! The CLTRG All-Stars will take on the Philly Roller Girls Independence Dolls while the CLTRG B-Dazzlers battle it out against the Star City Roller Girls. This will be the LAST HOME BOUT of the season, an event you don’t want to miss!
